From May 29 to 31, 2026, the "20th West China Orthopedic Forum, the 7th Academic Exchange Conference of the Orthopedics Discipline Alliance of West China Hospital, and the 2026 4th Academic Annual Meeting of the Clinical Trial Research Branch of Biomaterials of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials", hosted by the Sichuan International Medical Exchange and Promotion Association and co-organized by the Department of Orthopedics of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, the Orthopedic Technology Innovation and Translation Committee of the Sichuan International Medical Exchange and Promotion Association, and the Clinical Trial Research Branch of Biomaterials of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials, was grandly held at Chengdu Century City International Convention Center.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the establishment of West China Orthopedics, and the conference kicked off in a rich academic atmosphere and historical heritage. The conference set up multiple special sessions including the Masters Forum, Orthopedics Discipline Alliance Exchange, joints, spine, trauma, bone tumors, sports medicine, foot and ankle, orthopedic nursing, international exchange and biomaterials research, comprehensively showcasing the frontier knowledge, latest technologies and research achievements in the fields of orthopedics and biomaterials.
