Procedure Overview
Treating acromioclavicular joint dislocation with suture button internal fixation directly repairs the ruptured ligament and reconstructs the stability between the coracoid and the distal clavicle. It requires no second surgery to remove the plate, sparing the patient additional pain.
The fixation effect closely mimics the physiological state and is well accepted by patients.
After creating the bone tunnel with dedicated positioning, the adjustable suture button loop is passed through the clavicle and coracoid in sequence via a traction suture, the four-leaf clover plate is threaded onto the loop and placed beneath the coracoid, and the loop is tightened to reduce the acromioclavicular joint.
