In the bright spring, learning enables one to go far. To further promote the standardized application and innovative development of artificial ligament technology in the domestic sports medicine field and build a high-level academic exchange platform,。from April 19 to 20,the Institute of Sports Medicine of Fudan Universitythe Advanced Visiting and Training Class on Artificial Ligamentswas successfully held at the Pudong Campus of Huashan Hospital, Fudan University. Sports medicine colleagues from across the country gathered together, and through a combination of theoretical lectures, case discussions, practical workshops and surgery observation, jointly advanced the clinical implementation of artificial ligament technology.

On the morning of April 19, the training class officially kicked off.Professor Chen Shiyi of Huashan Hospital, Fudan University, opened the class with a lecture titled "Trends and Prospects of Artificial Ligament Development", systematically sorting out the development history and future direction of artificial ligament technology for the trainees and setting a high-level academic tone for the training class.

Afterwards, Professor Shang Xiliang and Professor Ge Yunshen of Huashan Hospital, Fudan University, gave in-depth explanations respectively on the selection of artificial ligaments in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and revision, and the techniques and "pitfall-avoidance" key points of all-inside reconstruction, breaking down complex surgical techniques into clear and learnable clinical points.Professor Wu Ziying, rehabilitation therapist Sun Yang and head nurse Cao Li, meanwhile, focused on perioperative management, postoperative rehabilitation, patient education and nursing, covering everything from the postoperative impact of insufficient knee extension, the formulation of perioperative rehabilitation plans, to nursing details, comprehensively spanning the full-process management of artificial ligament reconstruction surgery and giving trainees a deeper understanding of the importance of postoperative rehabilitation.

During the case discussion session, real clinical cases presented by Professor Fu Dejie of the First Affiliated Hospital of the Army Medical University and Professor Jiang Tao of the Huainan Oriental Hospital Group sparked heated on-site discussions. The attending experts expressed their views based on their own clinical experience, solving clinical problems through the collision of ideas.

The subsequent ward observation session allowed everyone to directly experience the application of Huashan Hospital, Fudan University's frontier diagnosis and treatment concepts in clinical practice, and to directly understand the full standardized diagnosis and treatment process of a top domestic sports medicine department in the ward.

The Workshop simulation practice once again heated up the on-site academic atmosphere, with experts providing hands-on teaching and one-on-one guidance, allowing trainees to consolidate technical details through hands-on operation and truly achieve "understanding, mastering and applying".

On April 20, the training class entered the immersive surgery observation session, directly learning the surgical thinking, operating techniques and management approaches of Professor Chen Shiyi and Professor Ge Yunshen. This allowed trainees to understand and digest the theoretical knowledge and practical points learned the previous day directly against real surgical scenarios, reaping great benefits.

The successful holding of this training class not only built a high-quality learning and exchange platform for practitioners in the domestic sports medicine field, but also promoted the standardized and normalized application of artificial ligament technology. The trainees said one after another that this training class was "solid in content, practical in format, and full of gains - a rare high-quality learning opportunity!"
