Dedicating to Knee Techniques, Empowering Clinical Practice | The Knee Reconstruction Technique Training Class at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University Concluded Successfully

To promote the standardized development of knee reconstruction technology in the sports medicine field of the Liaoning region and improve the diagnosis and treatment level of clinicians, on April 25, jointly hosted by the Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University, the Medical Training Center of Dalian Medical University and the School of Basic Medical Sciences of Dalian Medical University,the Knee Reconstruction Technique Training Classwas successfully held in Dalian. Relying on Dalian Medical University's profound medical heritage, this training built a high-level learning platform integrating academic exchange, technical discussion and hands-on operation.

At the beginning of the conference, the conference chairman,Professor Yang Liang of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University,delivered a speech, warmly welcoming the arrival of all trainees, and emphasized that this training class, relying on the disciplinary advantages of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University, aims to promote the standardized development of regional knee reconstruction technology, improve the regional sports medicine diagnosis and treatment capability, let advanced technology take root in the coastal city, and benefit more patients.

The conference courses brought together top experts in the sports medicine field from within and outside the province.Professor Yu Shengbo of Dalian Medical Universityfirst gave a special presentation on "Knee Joint Anatomy", building a clear anatomical theoretical framework for the trainees; Professor Yang Liang gave a detailed explanation on anterior and posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction techniques with artificial ligaments, sharing clinical operating key points and precautions unreservedly;Professor Wang Xiaohui of Luoyang Orthopedic-Traumatological Hospital of Henan Province (Zhengzhou Campus)shared the diagnosis and treatment strategies for revision of anterior cruciate ligament with artificial ligaments, conducting an in-depth analysis of the difficulties and countermeasures for complex revision cases;Professor Fang Yuli of the Fifth Hospital of Harbingave a presentation titled "Analysis of Application Scenarios and Experience of Artificial Ligaments in Clinical Tissue Reconstruction", exploring the diverse application prospects of artificial ligament technology based on rich clinical cases.

In the hands-on operation session, Professor Yang Liang led the trainees in teaching demonstrations, providing standardized demonstration guidance from surgical approaches, instrument operation to the control of key steps. Afterwards, the trainees practiced in groups, personally experiencing the full-process operation of knee reconstruction under the one-on-one guidance of experts.

The successful holding of this Knee Reconstruction Technique Training Class promoted the exchange and promotion of knee reconstruction technology in the Liaoning region, continuously improved regional medical service capability, let advanced technology take root in Dalian, contributed the strength of the coastal city to the development of the sports medicine industry, and enabled more patients to benefit from standardized, high-level diagnosis and treatment services.
